BAHAU - Felda Global Ventures Plantation (M) SdnBhdis hoped to agressively search the old productive plantation when the company runs replanting programme to ensure the finance and profits.
Vice Executive President and Head of Plantation Cluster, Abdul Halim Ahmad said, FGV will search the old plantations having the same width in the region which runs the replanting programme.
It could be about 15.000 hectaresand the searching process could be a year.
“Now we are searching a 60.000 hectare area. We already have about 25.000 to 30.000 hectares (the old palm oil plantation) and we are about to see 20.000 hectares (the old palm oil plantation too). After that, we could ensure the stable cash of the company,” he said as quoted fromBernama, Friday (1/5).
He also explained, the FGV could have increasing profits up to 25% in the next five years for the mature palm oil plantations.(T3)
