JAKARTA -National crude palm oil (CPO) exports until March still grew. But palm oil industries still have the heavy challenges in the future, both in domestic and international countries.
Chairman of Indonesian Palm Oil Businessmen (IPOBA) Joko Supriyono, in his speech when inaugurating the Coordinators, Advisory Boards, and Supervisor Boards, 2015 – 2018, Tuesday (28/4) mentioned, the challenges relate to investment climates which are not really aside to the progress of palm oil industries.
Beside that, the regulations which are not either to palm oil industries so there are problems running for there is no law enforcement.
International problems, such as, black campaigns, which the non government organizations have done, are the next challenges for the campaigns could weaken the national competitiveness.
“If we let these happen, these will decrease the national palm oil industrial competitiveness in the future. These will threaten the industries,” he said (T3)
