Investor Banks Aim Palm Oil Plantation in Serawai

SERAWAI – Two new investors, they are, PT. Agro Surya Mandiri and PT. Agro Bina Lestari are ready to invest in palm oil plantation in Subdistrict of Serawai, District of Sintang, West Kalimantan Province.

It was discussed when socializing the People Involvement and the Open Information in the Environmental Effects of the Plantation of PT. Agro Surya Mandiri and PT. Agro Bina Lestari which was done in the hall of CU. Keling Kumang, Wednesday (22/4).

As it is quoted from Berita Sintang, based on the Decision of Regent of Sintang No. 525/1538/Kep-Pertanahan/2014 on November 10th, 2014 about the location licence for plantation, PT. Agro Surya Mandiri will have palm oil plantation investment about 14.500 hectares in four villages, they are Karya Jaya, Mentajoi, Merako Jaya and Nanga Bihe.

Based on the Decision of Regent of Sintang, No: 525/1537/Kep-Pertanahan/2014 on November 1oth, 2014 about the licence locatation, PT Agro Bina Lestari will have about 18.500 hectares in 13 villages, they are Nanga Serawai, Tanjung Raya, Bedaha, Pagar Lebata, Nanga Tekungai, Buntut Ponte, Tunas Harapan, Nanga Segulang, Teluk Harapan, Baras Nabun, Penekasan, Nanga Jelundung and Rantau Malam.
