JAKARTA – Management of palm oil company, PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk (ANJ) reported, in December 31st, 2014, the total planted area of the company reached 45.605 hectares of 44.172 hectares in 2013. 78,5% of the planted area were productive palm oil plantations and the rests were yet productive ones.

The fruit production of the company in 2014 increased 19% to be 726.292 tons from the previous year which reaching 609.419 tons. The average palm oil yield in 2014 increased 6,3% or 20,3 tons fruit per hectare in the productive plantation. But it was 19,1 tons in the previous year.

Director of ANJ, Suwito Anggoro said, in 2014 the productive palm oil area in West Kalimantan were 3.849 hectares of 12.061 hectares planted area.

“In January 2015, the  productive area got wider about 3.721 hectares so the total productive palm oil plantations reached 7.561 hectares,” he said in the press  conference, Wednesday (22/4).

Beside that, two palm oil plantation areas in West Papua have started to plant by the end of 2014. The two plantation areas are managed by PT Permata Putera Mandiri and PT Putera Manunggal Perkasa and they have planted 1.296 hectares.

Suwito continued, PT Pusaka Agro Makmur (PAM) which was acquired in October 2014 is in the final process to have business licence certificate. (T3)
