MEDAN – The Secretary of Indonesian Businessmen Association (IBA) of North Sumatera, Laksamana Adiyaksa said, the exports from North Sumatera to India from January to February increased 7,15% or reached US$93,292 millions..
It is increasing while the decreasing of superior export product, that is crude palm oil (CPO) happens. “The increasing exchange from India is good for the CPO exports are decreasing,” he said as quoted from Harian Sib, Tuesday (21/4).
He explained, the decreasing CPO and derivative exports from North Sumatera were the effects of the global crisis and the Government of India to empower the farmers.
So, Adiyaksa continued, it is good to have the increasing exchange in North Sumatera. (T3)
