JAKARTA – Coordinator Secretary of Economy, Sofyan Djalil, Tuesday (14/4) said, the CPO policy draft about crude palm oil (CPO) fund will have been signed by Secretary of Treasury.
In the regulation, Sofyan said, the citation which runs is about US$ 50 per ton of CPO and US$30 per ton of derivative product of CPO. This policy will make free out fee tax of CPO which is under US$ 750 per ton. It is rumored that the citation fee will be in Non Tax State Revenue (NTSR).
Beside that, it is rumored that the fund will be used to do replanting programme belonging to the farmers reaching 2 millions hectares area and the development of human resources and the research and development programmes.
Daily Chairman of Indonesian Biofuel Producers Association, Paulus Tjakrawan said, it is not good if the citation fund will be used to change the disparity of expensive biodiesel and diesel price. “Wheter citation is or it is not, the renewable energy policy should keep running,” he said.(T2)
