JAKARTA - The government will oblidge, cooking oil should be packed and has Indonesian National Standard (INS), starting from March 27th, 2016. This is to guarantee the hygiene, to fulfill of the consumers’ rights and to stabilize the cooking oil price.
Ministry of Trade, Rachmat Gobel said and asked the people to buy cooking oil in the pack and have INS label.
As written in Antara, Rachmat Gobel also opened the cheap cooking oil bazar which Sinar Mas run in the secretariat office, RW-09, Kelurahan Grogol, Kecamatan Grogol Petamburan, Jakarta Barat.
In the ceremony, Sinar Mas provided 5 thousands liters of cooking oil in packs. It was sold Rp 9 thousands per liter. It was cheaper than the market price, Rp 15 thousands/liter. “It is hoped that the people are helped to have economical price,” he said.(T2)
