InfoSAWIT, PALANGKA RAYA – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for both plasma and independent smallholders in Central Kalimantan continued their upward trend during the second pricing period of July 2026, supported by firmer crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel prices.

Based on the decision of the Central Kalimantan Provincial FFB Pricing Committee for the July 16–31, 2026 period, the price for 10–20-year-old plasma oil palms increased by Rp86.69/kg to Rp3,791.30/kg. Meanwhile, independent smallholders cultivating 100 percent tenera planting material received Rp3,477.40/kg, up Rp83.77/kg from the previous pricing period.

The pricing decision was finalized during a virtual committee meeting held on August 5, 2026. The next FFB pricing session for the first half of August is scheduled to take place on August 19, 2026, at the Central Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Office in Palangka Raya.

According to data compiled by InfoSAWIT from the Central Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Office, plasma FFB prices ranged from Rp3,093.65/kg for three-year-old palms to Rp3,791.30/kg for plantations aged 10–20 years. Prices for older palms gradually declined, with 25-year-old trees valued at Rp3,379.08/kg.

For independent growers, pricing was determined based on the proportion of tenera planting material. Farmers with 100 percent tenera received Rp3,477.40/kg, while prices ranged down to Rp3,345.37/kg for plantations containing 40 percent tenera palms.

The latest pricing formula was calculated using an average CPO price of Rp15,426.46/kg, a palm kernel price of Rp14,388.09/kg, and a K Index of 92.07 percent. These benchmark values serve as the official reference for FFB payments to plasma and participating independent smallholders throughout the applicable pricing period. (T2)
