Central Kalimantan FFB Prices Climb in First Half of July 2026, Plasma Tops Rp3,704/kg

InfoSAWIT, PALANGKA RAYA – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for both plasma and independent smallholders in Central Kalimantan increased during the first pricing period of July 2026, reflecting stronger palm oil market fundamentals and higher reference commodity prices.

According to the Central Kalimantan FFB Pricing Committee, the price for 10–20-year-old plasma oil palms rose by Rp95.18/kg to Rp3,704.62/kg for the period July 1–15, 2026. Meanwhile, the FFB price for independent smallholders with 100 percent tenera planting material increased by Rp88.81/kg to Rp3,393.47/kg.

The prices were agreed during a committee meeting held in Palangka Raya on July 20, 2026. The next FFB pricing meeting for the second half of July was scheduled for August 5, 2026, and conducted virtually via Zoom.

Based on data compiled by InfoSAWIT from the Central Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Office, plasma FFB prices ranged from Rp3,028.88/kg for three-year-old palms to Rp3,704.62/kg for palms aged 10–20 years. Prices for older plantations gradually declined, with 25-year-old palms valued at Rp3,292.73/kg.

For independent growers, pricing was determined according to the percentage of tenera planting material. Farmers with 100 percent tenera received Rp3,393.47/kg, while prices ranged down to Rp3,259.61/kg for plantations containing 40 percent tenera palms.

The pricing formula was based on an average CPO price of Rp15,283.20/kg, a palm kernel price of Rp13,106.46/kg, and a K Index of 92.07 percent, which serve as the official benchmark for FFB payments throughout the applicable period. (T2)
