JAKARTA – Indonesian Palm Oil Businessmen Association (IPOBA) estimated, the crude palm oil (CPO) price could be more than US$750 per ton in the second semester of this year.
Chairman of IPOBA, Joko Supriyono in Jakarta, Monday (6/4)said, it happens if the CSF of CPO about US$50 per ton in mixingCPO to diesel about 15% (B15) could be implemented in the first semester of 2015.
“The policy will increase the domestic demands, so it should be running in the first semester of this year so that the price could be more than US$ 750 per ton in the second semester,” he said.
Joko continued, the government should immediately make the time to implement the policy to all sides though the policy will not be sure to be permanent or not.
If CPO price has been US$ 750 per ton, the threshold to make CPO out fee (OF) is not known yet to make CPO Supporting Fund (CSF) still. (T3)
