PELAIHARI – Resort Police, District of Tanah Laut reported, on Wednesday, there was an areal case happening in the plasma plantation belonging to PTPN XIII Pelaihari block 8 and 9 in Village of Kuringkit, Subdistrict Panyipatan, District of Tanah Laut.

The case involved some local people with PTPN XIII Pelaihari because the people claimed, the 30 hectare areas which were cultivated to plant corn were theirs. Unfortunately, the claim that the people vocalized had no legality.

As it was reported in the website of Public Relation of Police Department, Monday, about 08.30 Central Time, Head of Subdistrict Police Panyipatan, Tanah Laut, IPTU IPTU Hadi Supanto got the visit of 12 villagers of Kuringkit and the officers from PTPN XIII Pelaihari in the office. They meditiated in familihood to solve the case.

IPTU Hadi Supanto who was in charge took both sides to the location and measured the area by using GPS (Global Positioning System) tools.

It was proven, after the measurement, the area belonged to PTPN XIII Pelaihari and what the people claimed was not true at all.

But some of the people were not satisfied and still claimed the area. “The mediation will be running on in the office after there is an answer from PTPN XIII Pelaihari,” Head of Subdistrict Police, Panyipatan said. (T3)
