JAKARTA – On Monday (2/2), Central Statistic Agency reported, in January, there was deficit 0,24% with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) about 118,71. While the inflation year on year (January 2015 to January 2014) was 6,96%.

 “Of 82 cities of the CPI, 51 cities were deficit and 31 cities were in inflation,” head of CSA, Suryamin said in Jakarta.

He thought, deflation happened for the decreasing price which is shown by the decreasing output group index, such as, transportation, communication and monetary service about 4,04%. (T3)
