Thailand CPO Imports Arrived in Port of Siam Gas

BANGKOK – For the first time, 9.000 tons of crude palm oil (CPO) arrived in port of Siam Gas, in Samut Prakan, Thailand, Friday (30/1). The CPO will be distributed to the factory to be processed to be cooking oil. The delivery is to fulfill the lack of stocks there.
 
Imported palm oil will be given to 11 members of Thailand Palm Oil Factory Association. In January 20th, the Ministry agreed to import 50.000 tons of CPO which was hoped to be finished by the middle of February to prevent the lack. 
 
Chairman of Public Warehouse Organization, who is also the Secretary of Trade, Jintana Chaiyawan mentioned, the import will make 37-40 millions of liters of cooking oil.
 
Quoting from Bangkok Post, the delivery of 14.000 tons will be arrived on February 8th and the other, 12.200 tons will be on February 10th, 9.000 tons will be on 11-12 February and the last one, 5.780 tons will be on February 13th. (T3)
