PEKANBARU – Head of Plantation Agency, Riau Province, Zuhler said, Riau becomes the pilot project of the central government in the Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certification for independent palm oil farmers.
He continued, as quoted from Go Riau, Monday (26/1), the survey is done in January to March 2015.
“The ISPO certification for the independent farmers is the government’s commitment to the global markets for the derivative products which we sell derive from the farmers’. Now we start the Pilot Project for some Villagers Cooperation. The certification results will be the references for whole people’s plantations in the future,” he said. (T3)
