DUMAI – Crude palm oil (CPO) process company, PT Wilmar, re – continues its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme by founding one library fulfilled of reading books to a Alam Bandar Bakau School in Dumai, Riau Province.
Wahana Riau wrote, Sunday (25/1) the school which is named Pustaka Intan Payung is symbolically given by General Manager PT Wilmar, Tanmin to the Chairman of Pencinta Alam Bahari, Darwis Mohd Saleh, Saturday (24/1) in the Museum of Kampung Tua Kedondong, Jalan Nelayan Laut, Pangkalan Sesai Village, Subdistric of West Dumai.
Beside founding the library, PT Wilmar also gave reading books relating to the environment, which is “Sekolah Rimba”. “PT Willmar also gave many numbers of reading books to increase the students’ knowledge,” he explained.
Tanmin thought, the aid of Pustaka Intan Payung and the reading book are kinds of CSR from the company to the people of Dumai. “The library is finished and it is the CSR from the companny in 2014,” he said. (T3)
