ABUJA – President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan has been satisfied for private companies, such as, Okomu, PRESCO, PZ - Wilmar dan Wilbar oil re-developing palm oil plantations there.
He also mentioned, the federal government gave 9 millions of superior palm oil seeds to all Nigerian farmers
Jonathan admitted, the increasing investment which in the private fertilizer sectors (about $5 billions or N900 billions), decreases the fertilizer price. “This will make us self-sufficient in the fertilizer production and will be the net fertilizer exporter,” he said.
“The investment decreases the price of fertilizer and the farmers will be able to pay the fertilizer to increase their production. I am happy for the private fertilizer sectors,” he mentioned as quoted from All Africa, several time ago. (T3)
