TELUK KUANTAN – Based on the data from Plantation Agency, KuantanSingingi (Kuansing), there are more than 279 thousand hectares of palm oil plantations, the back up areas are about 244 thousand hectares and the forest areas are 414.226 hectares.
Forest Agency, Kuansing said, the state forest could be enlarged to be plantations by some numbers of good local and national businessmen.
“It is true, there are some state forest areas in Kuansing which are enlarged to be plantations by some businessmen,” Head of Forest Agency, Kuansing, Agusmandar said as written in Kapur News, Friday, (16/1)
He thought, the more palm oil plantation in Kuangsing, the more investors will enlarge palm oil factories. (T3)
