MAMUJU – Head of Management and Marketing Plantation Result, Plantation Agency, Province of West Sulawesi, Abdul Waris Bestari said, this year, five palm oil factories will be built in two districts in West Sulawesi.
As quoted from Antara, four palm oil mill (POM) will be built in North Mamuju and the other one is in Central Mamuju. “POF in Central Mamuju has been 80% to complete and it will immediately be,” he said.
He thought, factories being built have no plantations. He hoped, the factories could make relationship or partnership with the farmers groups in the regions so that the operational could run as well as the regulation.
“They should cooperate both the farmers coopertions because the regulation regulates palm oil factory should welfare palm oil farmers,” he explained, Thursday (15/1).(T3)
