PARINGIN –The enlargement of palm oil plantation in Papuyun Village, Subdistrict of Lampihong, District of Balangan, South Kalimantan Province which has begun since 2011 is monitored by local Forestry and Plantation Agency. 

 

Head of Forestry and Plantation Agency Balangan, Hariyono said, as quoted from Antara, the development of palm oil plantation in Papuyun Village was 50 acres and now it is 80 acres.

 

So the Agency keeps giving help, guidance to the farmers to solve anyside who postpones palm oil development.

 

“Knowing the climate and nature in Papuyun Village, palm oil will not be dead but the producivity will be a little bit disturbed but it can be harvested though the fruit is a little bit smaller. (T3)
