SAMARINDA – Livestock Agency, Province of East Kalimantan has distributed 3.528 cows to all livestock groups spreading in the districts and city to breed them fast and well.
They are female cow which are aimed to run palm oil – cow integrated programme of Breeding Cow.
As written from Antara, Chief of Livestock Agency, East Kalimantan, Dadang Sudarya, Saturday (10/1) said, the distribution is helped by State and Local Budget.
“The cow is bought from the combination of State Budget in 2014 and Local Budget of East Kalimantan 2014, they are, 2.551 cows from the central government and 997 cows from East Kalimantan,” he said.
The groups in District of East Kutai get 150 cows. The groups in District of West Kutai get the same numbers. The groups in District of North Penajam Paser get 920 cows.
In developing palm oil – cow integrated programme, every family has got five cows, they are two cows to be fat and three cows to be bred.(T3)
