PONTIANAK - Police Department of West Kalimantan in cooperation with West Jakarta arrested a palm oil businessman who was also RI legislator, Budiono Tan.
Budiono who was also wanted since 2010 was suspected to embezzle 1.535 certificates of plasma farmers in PT Benua Indah Grup (BIG) in District of Ketapang.
"I directly command to arrest Budiono Tan, and every suspect must wear prisoners cloth, just like the other suspects," Chief of Police Department of West Kalimantan, Brigjen (Pol) Arief Sulistyanto said in Pontianak, Sunday (11/1).
Quoting from Antara, Budiono Tan was taken to Police Departmen Quarters of West Kalimantan, Saturday (10/1) by investigation team of Police Department of West Kalimantan from Jakarta.
"I have given orders to all the criminal officers, especially in West Kalimantan not to be afraid of any pressure. The investigation team should do the same to all crimes and suspects in the name of law," Arief exclaimed. (T3)
