KOTABARU – The areal dispute between the villagers of Sahapi, Subdistrict Kelumpung Hilir, District of Kota Baru, South Kalimantan and a palm oil company was meddled by the government.
On Tuesday (6/1/2015), some legislators of Kotabaru, the regent and officers of the government visited the areal dispute.
Chief of Legislator Kotabaru, Alfisah explained, the visit was to follow up the complaints from the people in the beginning of December 2014 in the hall of Legislatives. “The villagers came to the hall and complained the company which was suspected to chop the people’s area,” Alfisah said so as quoted from Antara.
Alfisah also told, what they saw, there were some marks of chopping using the heavy tools. But the heavy tools had no existed. He continued, to solve the problems, there should be a forum which would be attended by all sides. (T3)
