LIMA – In the end of 2014, Agro Peru exports reached US$ 5,3 billions or it increased 21% than the previous year. Secretary of Agriculture and Irrigation, Juan Manuel Benites said so, Tuesday (6/1/2015).
The increasing export happened for the demand of non traditional products in international markets and the incresing on-board export price.
He thought, as quoted from Andina, the exported products were, palm oil which increased 191%, quinoa 130%, cocoa seeds 74%, fresh avocado 67%, and fresh wine fruit 16%. (T3)
