Indonesian Export Decreased 11,3%

JAKARTA – Secreatary of Trade, Indonesian Republic, Rachmat Gobel reported, in November 2014 Indonesia’s export activities decreased 11,3% than in the same month last year before (year on year, YOY) or it decreased 14,6% in November 2013. But Rachmat Gobel thought to be optimist, in 2015, Indonesia will be getting US$ 192,5 billions.

The decreasing exports were happenning for the increasing of export of oil and gas about 14,7% (Month on Month, MoM) or it decreased 23,9%, and the decreasing of non oil and gas exports was about 10,6% (MoM) or 12,6% (YoY).

“The decreasing trade exports show that the global demands have not recovered yet,” he said in Jakarta, Tuesday (6/1/2015).

But he felt optimistic, Indonesia has many chances because there are some non oil and gas exports to some emerging market countries in January – November 2014. The countries are Arab EmiratesUnion had increasing demands about 61,8%; Australia 36,7% and Saudi Arabia about 22,6%. (T3)
