Jakarta – Indonesia’s palm oil industries have run and developed partnership pattern between the government, companies, and farmers. This is useful to increase the welfare of the farmers.

According to Director of PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia, Darwin Indigo, the partnership pattern is very important and could become the role model for the other countries, such as, Africa and South America. Many countries have asked about the partnership pattern which is run in Indonesia, such as, Myanmar. The country thought, Indonesia has succeeded to implement the plasma partnership,” he recently said in Jakarta.

That is why he hoped, all sides; the government, companies and farmers, could cooperate to achive better partnership pattern. The government in special, should totally support this programme by giving the easiness to get the areal status. This will reduce the conflicts happening between the companies and the farmers.

The  next, Darwin continued, the government should make regulations which support the programme and if the regulations are not run, “The companies and the farmers should be punished or get the sanctions,” he said.q T3
