JAKARTA – PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS) keep sharpen their business performance, in order to strengthen it position in palm oil plantations sector. The increasing of operations efficiency is done by consistently in line with some efforts to stimulate sustainable productivity and keep the stability of profitable.

It is proved until September 2014, the Central Borneo performance company recorded in very good performance. According to the statement from Main Director of PT SSMS, Rimbun Situmorang, net income of the company in 2014 will reaches Rp735 billion, or increasing by 16.4% compared by last year’ net income. “We are optimistic, in 2015, we will get a better performance,” he said to the journalists after SSMS Public Expose event in Jakarta, on Monday (22/12).

According to company report, net income for first nine month in 2014 successfully rose by 39.9% into Rp477.6 billion. In the same period, the company trading income also increases 23.6% compared by the last same period, into Rp.1.557 Trillion.

To date, the company’ planted areas reached 34,064 hectares (per September 2014), from the areas land own by the company as 78,070 hectares. It is planned the company will keep expanse their planted areas, by areas addition as 5,000 until 5,500 hectares annually. (T2)
