JAKARTA – Today, palm oil global market not only accusing the palm oil company to do sustainable principals and criteria practices, but also palm oil farmers accused to do the same. That’s why, Unity of Palm Oil Farmers (Serikat Petani Kelapa Sawit-SPKS) keep effort in implementing sustainable palm oil practices for it 38 thousand members.
Coordinator of SPKS, Mansuetos Darto Alsyanu stated, so far, SPKS has identified it members by monitoring, in order to ensure to make the comfortable. “Due to many companies which are afraid to receive fresh fruit bunches (FFB) from forest areas,” he said, in Jakarta recently. (T3)
