PANGKALAN KERINCI – Some of palm oil plantation companies in Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province, give assistance toward local communities who are hit by flood.

A villager of Rantau Baru Village, Pangkalan Kerinci, who are hit by flood, Nasir (55), as published by Info Riau, on Wednesday (10/12/2014), said has accept assistance package directly from the companies.

“The assistance package contains rice, instant noodle, sugar, cooking oil, some packs of tea and coffee,” he said.

He stated, the assistances which are distributed directly by the companies, but he doesn’t know what company are they. “So far we have receiving 3 packages one from local government,” he said.

But Pelalawan Regents, Harris, fortunate the distribution of the assistance done by the companies don’t take part from local government. (T3)
