KWANDANG - A company which is running palm oil plantations, PT Umika Makmur, required to seriously efforts its activities in North Gorontalo (Gorut). Due to the company, said the Vice Regent, Roni Imran said have already obtaining their license since 2012 for 16,368 hectares land, but until now, there is no any palm oil planting activities.
“Local governments want to know directly whether PT Umika Makmur serious or not in operating their business in Gorut. Cause the license has been permitted since 2012 but until now there were no any activities,” he said, on Monday (08/12/2014), as published by Detikawanua.
Roni asserted, if the palm oil company were not serious the government will reviewing the ownership license especially constriction region or land which became the object of a license. (T3)
