JAKARTA – A palm oil plantation company, PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS) which is operated in West Kotawaringin, Central Borneo, successfully achieved company performance rating in environmental management program (Proper) with Green rating from Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
President Director of SSMS, Rimbun Situmorang stated, SSMS wants to build palm oil plantation business by professionally.
“We want to give special attention to the environment. Since the beginning of our company established, one of our big commitment is to keep the environment, mainly for the environment around our operating-place,” said Rimbun as published by Investor Daily, on Thursday (04/12/2014).
To date, PT SSMS recorded has certified in ISO 14001:2004 for Environment Management and OHSAS 18001:2007 for Safety Management. (T3)
