UNITED KINGDOM - Croda, a multi-national company operating in chemical and personal care industry on Wednesday (03/12/2014), as cited by Cosmetics-Design Asia announces its manufacturing sites in India and Brazil are the latest to receive Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Certification for Mass Balance production of CSPO ingredients.
The company successfully achieved certification of seven of its manufacturing sites to handle Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) materials via Mass Balance, including facilities in Asia Pasific, Europe, and the USA.
The Vice Pre3sident, Global Accounts, Chris Sayner tells that the seven sites currently handle 80% of Croda’s palm products and having target that all 14 factories around the world certified by the end of next year.
“It is a big thing for Croda, and for the industry, as the topic has gathered a lot of momentum in the personal care industry this year. It is a global issue, so we have ensured we have a consistent global approach,” he said. (T4)
