LONDON – New Britain Palm Oil (NBPOL) in its statement on last weekend stated, it will take a longer time from the expectation for European regulators to agreed the takeover bid offered by Malaysian big company, Sime Darby on last October.

Cited from The Wall Street Journal, NBPOL mentioned Sime Darby statement which said: “After the recently discussion with Europe Union  Comission, it has been determined that addition time will needs to collecting continuous market data to help complicated and dinamic palm oil market analyst in Europe and the impact from the proposed transactions.”

“This will cause the retard of expected time from the allowance decision from Europe Unions Comission,” Sime Darby added.

The terms of the bid will change if it is possible in time to fulfill the terms from Europe Unions, said New Britain. But, the date and time exactly haven’t determined yet. (T3)
