DUMAI – The spill of thousands ton of crude palm oil (CPO) owned by PT Inti Benua Perkasatama (IBP) a few times ago in Dumai, causes protests from local university students.
The university students which are united in Dumai University Students (DUN) urged that PT IBP to be withdrawn the licenses.
“DUN looks that PT IBP has been negligent to the environment, from the spill of their thousands ton CPO not only swamps to the river and mainland, but also flow into Dumai city ocean,” said General Secretary DUN, Syukrizal, as published by Riau Terkini, on Tuesday (18/11). (T3)
