PONTIANAK – Head of Revenue Agency, West Kalimantan, Taruli Manurung, Thursday (4/9/2014) said, the provincial government of West Kalimantan gets Rp 5 billions from the palm oil companies taxes operating in the region.
“By this year, there are Rp 5 billions which the government gets from the taxes of palm oil plantation companies,” he said as written in Pontianak Pos.
The income of the tax from palm oil plantation could be calculated from the participation tax, not the tax per fruit. He thought, the government could not get tax from the fruit because the regulation forbids that.
“The taxes are got from the consiousness and participations of palm oil companies. It can be calculated from consiousness of the business men taxes than from the listed companies which should pay,” he said.(T3)
