JAKARTA – The Chairman of Autonomous Region of The Association of Indonesian Palm Oil Companies (GAPKI), Susanto, estimated the production of crude palm oil (CPO) to the end of this year will increase.
“By the end of the year to reach 29 million tons, up by about 10% compared to last year which only amounted to 26,2 million tons,” he said in Jakarta, Thursday (06/11/2014).
According to him, even though production has increased, but the number was relatively small. This is because the El nino storms that occurred in Indonesia this year also attacked the palm oil plantations. (T3)
