TAPTENG – Non-compliance with the desire to build community facility of sewage treatment plant and the repair of the village road to the Bintang Nauli Pratam Palm Oil Mill (POM) area. Numbers people of Sibabangun district, Tapteng regency threaten to close the road to the mill.

A resident, Zulkifli Hutabarat (43), said, the request and expectation of residents have been delivered since the plant stands about seven or eight years ago. However, he added, the request and expectation are not accommodated by the company until now.

The disposal of oil processing sewage still remain to be done directly into the river without any purification/neutralism process of sewages. The consequence is the freshwater fish in Lubuk Larangan Hilir area were died. While, Lubuk Larangan is one of tour object place built by the government and local society.

  “In addition, the entrepreneurs also never realize the improvement of village roads to the area of Palm Oil Mill. The road condition has been severally damaged villages,” said Zulkifli, as reported by Andalas, Tuesday (04/11/2014). (T3)
