SIMPANG AMPEK – Regency Government of West Pasaman, West Sumatera, plans to build a Palm Oil Mill for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) processing in 2015, through the local government-owned company, named PT Mekar Jaya Madani.
According to the Head of Production Department of West Pasaman Agriculture Agency, Tahtihal Anhar, the needs of the mill by the local government-owned company is very important given the vast area of plantation.
“West Pasaman still a shortage of palm oil mills. Hopefully in 2015 we can add one more mill,” he said, Wednesday (05/11/2014), as published by ANtara Sumbar.
Currently the CPO mills in West Pasaman only 11 units, so that Tahtial said, we still need five more mills. (T3)
