JAKARTA – Agricultural business leader, PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk, said both of plantations area in Sumatera and Borneo along the 9 first-months of 2014 (9M2014) have recorded strong operational development.

For example, said the company, the volume of FFB increasing by 46% from 804.341 tons in 9M2014 become 1.170.422 tons in 9M2014. The result of FFB from Sumatera were higher 46% while Borneo by 44%.

“The strength of FFB production development were increased by the increasing of OER in Sumatera and Borneo plantations in same period (9M2014) as the result of intensification efforts in a few years,” said the emitent in their finance published-report, Thursday (30/10/2014).

That’s why, said the company CPO’s total production in 9M2014 increasing 55% from 158.863 tons in 9M13 become 245.573 tons in 9M14. (T3)
