PONTIANAK – Palm oil plantation focuses on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program for the basic needs of the society, such as access road, clean water, and the availability of educational facilities in the palm oil development area. As states by Head of Marketing of Association of Palm Oil Companies in Indonesia (GAPKI), Susanto, in Pontianak, Wednesday (29/10/2014).
“Our CSR program we used to do focus on a few things, as the basic needs, such as adequate housing, access roads, clean water and education,” he said, as quoted by Antara Kalbar.
Generally, Sussanto explained, the palm oil company usually have done CSR to the society around their plantation. But unfortunately rarely publicized, so that the general public does not know. (T3)
