KUALA LUMPUR – Felda Global Ventures Holding Bhd (FGV) have been spreading the biodiesel business in China by the inaugural delivery of 6.000 metric tons (MT) of palm methyl ester (PME) to Nansha, a port in Guangzhou.
President or CEO of the community, Datuk Mohd Emir Mavani Abdullah, as published by Bernama, Tuesday (18th October 2014), said the delivery was a significant development for the FGV biodiesel.
“By reaching the market of China, FGV is in its track to reach the target of global development for biodiesel strategy,” he said.
According to him, China is one of the big biodiesel market in the world. “Supporting by the big needs of energy and its dependence of biodiesel import, we can fulfill the exporter demands according to the biggest PME in Malaysia,” he said.
He added, nowadays, FGV have participated about 31,59 percent from the export of PME Malaysia. (T3)
