KUALA LUMPUR – The price of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) will increasing about RM 2.100 and RM 2.500 in next year. Accordingly the statement from Malaysia Palm Oil Council (MPOC), Tuesday (26th October 2014).
The Chief Executive Officer of MPOC Tan Sri Yusof Basiron, said besides the supply and demand of bio-fuel, the demand and the price level of petroleum will determine whether less or more the biodiesel will used.
“The announcement by the Minister of Agriculture Industry and Commodity, Datuk Seri Douglas Uggah Embas, who enforced the terms to used palm oil by seven percent to mnake biodiesel, from the 5% now on, is the way to ensure the CPO’s price,” he said as published by Bernama. (T3)
