PALANGKARAYA – Plantation Agency Central Kalimantan Province mentioned 12 palm oil companies get Rountable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certificates.
Head of Plantation Agency, Central Kalimantan, Rawing Rambang explained, RSPO certifications guarantee the selling of palm oil, such as, crude palm oil (CPO). “This is the agreement between the consumer country as the exporter palm oil too,” he said as written in Kalteng Pos. Tuesday (23/9/2/014).
He continued, besides RSPO certification, palm oil companies should have certification from the government of Indonesia, that is, Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO), which conserve the environment and develop green economy, and also increase the competitiveness of CPO in the global markets.
