BAGANBATU –The fake seed distribution in Riau Province makes the farmers and the government worried. To stop it, Plantation Agency in Rokan Hilir (Rohil) socialized the palm oil breeding in order not to harm the farmers.
Kepala Disbun Rokan Hilir, Syahril, mengatakan sosialisasi ini penting karena petani perkebunan kelapa sawit di Rohil dan khususnya di Bagan Sinembah-Simpang Kanan, sangat riskan dan rawan memperoleh bibit bermerek tapi palsu.
Head of Plantation Agency, Rohil Syahril said, the socialization is very important becausepalm oil farmers in Rohil and especially in Began Sinembah – Simpang Kanan, are risky to buy the fake seeds though having trade mark.
"Insya Allah if there is no problem, nextTuesdaywe will give socialization about the breedingin Hotel Suzuya, Bagan Batu," he said to Spirit Riau, Wednesday (24/9/2014). (T3)
