SIAK – Siak Regency Government giving indemnity towards palm oil farmers whose affected by Land Forest Fires (LFF), by giving them high quality palm oil seeds. The present, said Head Officer of Forestry and Agriculture Agency of Siak, Teten Efendi, divided by two steps which budgeted by partially in Local Government Budget (APBD) 2014 and 2015 period.
“For the first step in APBD 2014, the present will dividing on this November ,”he said, Monday (20th October 2014), as published by Riau Pos.
He mentioned, from the result of field inventorying, the palm oil plantation owned by the farmers which affected by the fires were in 5 districts, there were Pusako, Sungaiapit, Sabak Auh, Koto Gasib and Mempura. (T3)
