Colombia – Colombia’s increasing CPO production is the highest in last three years. oil World noted, the CPO production in Colombia increased about 1,15 millions of tons in 2014 than the previous year about 1,04 milions of tons 2013. The CPO is mostly used to be the material of cooking oil and biofuel.
The increasing production automatically decreased the volume export of CPO in Colombia about 30% to be 240 thousands of tons in 2014. Oil World recorded, Colombias is fourth CPO producer in the world after Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. “The increasing production happens for the increasing productivity and the large numbers of new planting of palm oil,” Oil World mentioned as written in Bloomberg Business.
