PETALING JAYA - Sime Darby Bhd which won the auction of New Britain Palm Oil Ltd (NBPOL) belonging to Kulim (Malaysia) Bhd shares could be the good opportunity for the company to run its business in Papua New Guinea. Analyst from Public Investment Bank said so.

"Thought it won’t help to consolidate Sime Darby’s business, we trust, that the company will collaborate the plantation business for Sime Darby is now running the business in the region,” the analyst said it in The Sun Daily, Monday (4/8/2014).

But before it, the company announced that they were chosen as the company which bought 49% shares of Kulim in NBPOL. Both side had discussed it in 60 days or more to complete the requirements in the transaction.
