JAKARTA – To boost the competitiveness in crude palm oil (CPO) Indonesia, the new elected presiden should pay attention to build special harbor of CPO in eastern Indonesia. General Secretary of Indonesian Palm Oil Businessmen Association (IPOBS) Joko Supriyono said, (6/8/2014).
He thought, as quoted from JPNN, the missing qualified harbor in the eastern Indonesia makes the selling price of CPO loose Rp 200 per kilogram. “ The infrastucture should be improved to boost Indonesia’s CPO in the international markets,” he said.
He continued, increasing CPO competitiveness should be done because of lots of black campaigns which non government organizations (NGOs) do, negative campaigns using global media, and the non-tariff barier in European and American countries toward palm oil. T3)
