Orrville – American company producing ice cream, toppings, soft drink, shortening, natural peanut butter, and other products, JM Smucker has committed to absorb sustainable palm oil.
In its official report which InfoSAWIT recently accepted, the company will fully use sustainable palm oil in the end of 2015 and so on. In 2012, the company also bought sustainable palm oil having certification from Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).
What the company does is a commitment to prove the implementation of Clean Yield Asset Management and Green Century Capital Management policies.
The report also recorded, the food company having market about i US$ 10,8 billions, also implement the same policy with the brand name Smuckers’ jams and jellies, Jif peanut butter, Crisco, Folger and Dunkin Donuts. (T2)
