SINGAPURA - Wilmar International Ltd noted, the decreasing net profits in the second quarter 2014 (2Q2014) about 22% to be US$ 170,7 millions than in the same period which was US$ 218,5 millions. In the first semester 2014 (1Q2014), the net profit decreased 38% from US$ 533,9 millions in 1Q2013 to be US$ 332,5 millions.
The decreasing happened for the decreasing palm oil factory. The income of the company in 2Q2014, as in official statement, which InfoSAWIT accepted, Thursday (7/8/2014), increased 0,9% from US$ 10,4 billions in the 2Q2013 to be US$ 10,5 billions.
The income in 1Q2014 increased 0,8% to be US$ 20,8 billions than the same period in last year which was only US$ 20,6 billions.
The profits before tax in palm oil and lauric divisions significantly decreased about 55,5%. (T3)
