RIAU–Fire in the forest and area which is predicted to threat the regions in Indonesia, especially in Riau, becomes the concern of Coordinators of REDD+. Together with the government of Riau, REDD+ did audit in the field to the companies and the regional government which will be held on July 1st, until August 30th, 2014.
Deputy IV, UKP4 in Law, Mas Achmad Santosa said, the audit is implemented based on the several sides.
“Of 13 action plans to prevent the fire in the forest and area and has been agreed in the meeting, managed by Vice President of Indonesian Republic and the related institution, on June 12th, 2014, one strategy should be done is the obidience audit to the companies and the regional government,” Mas Achmad said in his press release, which InfoSAWIT got, Tuesday (1/7/2014).
He thought, obidience audit has its important role to ensure the fulfillness of responsibility of the company to prevent the fire in the forests and the area in their concession areas. (T3)
